Pretty cool knife, well done by Boker to bring this to life, the edge bevels are pretty wide but they cut like crazy, arrived very sharp and the handle is quite comfortable to hold, sheath retains well too.

D2 steel, good stuff, only small pick would be the grind favours one side more than the other, but, hey it still cuts well, talking about viewing at the plunge lines, not the bevels of the edge.

Here's a quick shot of the knife, into paracord lanyards lately, diamond knot to help retrieve the knife and another diamond knot to end the loop;

It's all that and a bag of chips ! ;)

really fits the hand nice, blade ground down quite thin, sharper than most kitchen knives I'd think, arrived that way as well.

It's about 4mm thick at the spine and about 1 1/2" at the widest part of the blade, so she's stout to be sure.

And yes, the diamond knots work great on that, thanks ! :)

Thats a very nice knife ! Now they just need to make one with the same micarta handles as the black Rold so I can color-match ;)

I'd go for the Micarta scales, but I'd pass on the black blade myself, this rascal really slices well for such a thick spined knife.

I agree, the coating is unnecessary. But I'm not a fan of the desert G10 at all tbh. Otherwise its a great knife, just like its bigger brother

It's a solid knife but one that I decided to move along, but it's still very nice! Here's a shot of her with her sheath and Boker clip that has a belt adjustment thingy on it;

I have been looking at these knives. I have a couple of questions for you if you wouldn't mind? First what is the actual cutting length of the blade? What is the overall length of the knife? And I noticed the number 0668 on the spine on the underside of the handle, does that number have any significance?

The overall length according to Böker is 235mm, I measured only 230mm.
The cutting length is 95mm according to my measurement. The number is the serial number, all Böker and Böker Plus knives have one.

Thanks for the help xanopos, and mine was just sold off to a friend, so I don't have it to check, only reason was a new custom knife I got is close in size and didn't need to have both, otherwise I'd have certainly have kept the Scout, an amazing cutter and the handle is contoured great.

How was the sheath retention? I have had issues with Boker Vox and sheaths.

Agree, the one I had also had very good retention as well,
