Got a new Vox Viper Kyomi Flipper. Beautifully designed knife. But some have lock stick. And the flipping and closing action are not that great. Here is my review.

 
The Italian knives I've owned, while few in number, share the traits of beautiful design and execution in some respects, and mediocrity in others. Based on your review, the Kyomi seems to follow that trend.

I guess lots of knives are guilty of that to some degree. For some reason the dichotomy seems more poignant with Italian blades IMO.
