What is your favorite blade shape for a Voyager? So far I'm partial to the vaquero. 2nd place is the tanto for me. The tanto I have is a learning curve . It feels awkward . So I have to get used to it . I still think it is a good value for the money.
WHATS YOUR FAVORITE?? I was going to get a kriss blade but it is kinda strange. I felt it was too mall ninja for me. Any opinions? I'm probably going to get a couple more. Before there is no more to get

Only voyager i own is the kris version...got no real use for it just really like the look of it.Kris blade and tri-ad lock is a winner in my book.

I predict that this will be a sought after blade in the future.

Get the Vaquero if you like the looks of it.It is a slasher like no other.Probably gonna get one too.

Tanto is great for its stout tip and hollow grind.

My personal favorite is the XL Tanto, and it spends a lot of time in my pocket.

The Vaquero is undoubtedly a better weapon, but I don't think it is as useful a tool for me. I prefer to carry a knife that could do both.

I have a vaquero. So you suggest a kris blade? Next?

That's nice. I think I might get one. For the money it's hard to beat. And who knows how long they'll be making them. That's why I'm stocking up on voyagers. I seen the kris blade for $120 on sale. At kc.hmmm the old lady ain't gonna like it. I may be sleeping in the dog house for a night but I did get my new knife right? Edit 107$

So you reccomend the vaquero for defense over the tanto? That tanto is very stabby on wood. I dunno . I don't think it would slice roast beef really good though. Plus for vaquero

I just checked KC and they have the Rajah 2 on sale for $104...forget about the voyager and get a rajah instead.

Get the best of both worlds.stabby and slashy...

I'd never use a folder for SD,except for the Rajah.

I examined my rajah 3 and I've never liked it. It reminds me of a nessmuck. Really not my style

I second the Rajah 2 over a voyager. I use mine all the time, and find it to be much more useful than the Voyagers. Also really like the thumb stud/pocket grabber... If it has to be a voyager, I might consider the drop point XL.

The Rajah 3 shouldn't really be used in comparison to the Rajah 2, they looks similar but are waaaaaay different knives.

I like the clip points followed by the tantos, both with snaggletooth wave thumbstud replacements.
Pardon my ignorance, what is a snaggletooth wave thumb stud replacement? Disregard I just ordered one looks pretty cool I didn't know they made such a thing. Learn something new everyday I guess

My personal opinion- the tanto 1st, drop point 2nd, clip point 3rd, and Kris 4th. They are inexpensive enough so I will probably get all 4 eventually. Another option is the 4Max Scout. It's about the same price as an XL Voyager with a 4" blade and 6" handle.

Old style Voyagers were best Voyagers. I've had about dozen. I only have 2-3 right now; maybe less if I gave one to my son (again) or my nephew.

Both of my sons are knife whores. I can't mention I got a new knife because they always want the good ones. I give them plenty of knives though. They're like Hoover vacuum cleaners when it comes to knives and other weapons I feel your pain

1st Drop Point, 2nd Vaquero, 3rd Clip. I'm not a Tanto fan although I've tried (I have Recon1, VoyagerXL and SR1 tantos)
