Couple of things about the KnifeAuctions.NET site, most important is that it doesn't start until AUGUST, which might explain why there is no activity. And I do think it will be worth your time.
Most important, it is not Voyles' auction site, KnifeAuctions.NET is a corporation owned in part by Rhett Stidham of the Randall Knife Society, Dan Delavan of Plaza Cutlery, Bruce Voyles (me), collectors Perry Miller and David Mullins, and most recently Rolf Freiberg of Sweden has stated he will be joining us. Additionally the National Knife Collectors Association will be shareholders pending approval of their Board of Directors, and there are other major groups that will be very familiar to you that are expected to be coming on board.
There are a number of differences between our site and others, not the least of which is most of us who are owners are also active dealers, buyers, and collectors--and as you might imagine you will find plenty of knives of interest on there if we only list our own knives.
In fact Israel Campbell who does many of the descriptions for the J. Bruce Voyles, Auctioneer catalogs will be going to Florida for a week to assist Rhett and Perry in getting their knives online in time for the August launch.
And why I'm here it might be a good time to mention that this company is not related to J. Bruce Voyles, Auctioneers, that still produces catalog and live auctions. (Next catalog auction is July 19th-550 lots). Thanks for the opportunity to clear all this up.
