vs. cardboard tubes

My friend Ray says that tip velocity is important to achieving success in many competition cuts. I'd saved up a pile of cardboard tubes from work and thought they would make good targets; cutting one (or possibly two) free standing on a table seemed to be a good exercise. Since I don't have a spec competition chopper yet, I thought I'd drag out a few knives and machetes to see how they performed.

Nice! Good wrist action! I really liked the way (in the last chop) you made a fist with your left and pulled it behind your back. A couple of earlier ones made me a little nervous, but great job, looks like lots of fun!
