i have a pretty nice Vtech tanto folder that has been sitting in a drawer for ages, it used to be my edc but now i either carry the kabar dozier or spyderco tenacious
I have a fixed blade V-Tech in my junk drawer. The tip broke off stabbing it into a 2"x4". Not sideways and not hard, just a straight on stab just hard enough to make it stick.
Then again I have an M-Tech that has gone through hell and come back asking for more. Like with most Chinese knives, it's a crap shoot. Maybe one day they heat treat it, then decide not to the next.
