Has anyone used Bokers Vulknanus...I was curious as to how well it worked?

I've got a vulkanus . I prefer a spyderco sharpmaker. Why?? it chips up xt-15-n and s30v steel . Even softer steels like kitchenknives dont get a keen edge. Maybe mine isn't proper??? maybe just one of the two diamond squares is not fabrication ex factory checked??
