TOPS Knives

I saw these before/after all the Blade Show 2015 coverage and they had me wondering if they were made by TOPS. They look similar in construction to TOPS Knives. Even the sheaths look like they were made by TOPS Knives. Am I crazy or do they look like they are made by TOPS?

Reason I'm asking, is because I really like the Cholera from Vulture Equipment Works, but want to make sure I'm buying a quality product.

I have to question the wisdom of naming a knife the 'Cholera Mk. 1'. What exactly can a deadly disease that used to be known as the 'sh*tting sickness' say about your product?
