I haven't posted any of my knives here but I have sure looked at a lot of nice ones so I figure it is about time.I have been trying to finish knives as I am going to be in the Boise show. First show and first attempt to sell anything. So we will see what happens. I figure it will be a fun time and I will get to hang out and rub shoulders with some of the big boys. I also vowed not to post things until my photos were at least presentable. I built a light box from Jim Cooper's plans, http://www.bladeforu...-lightbox?pp=20 I really want to than you,Jim, for your time, effort an willingness to share your expertise. They aren't your quality but I think they are a big improvement over what I was doing before. This is the first knife I tried shooting. In any case as far as the knife, thought I would try a full integral, it doesn't have a butt cap so I guess it counts as a full integral.

Thanks for looking Todd Miller

that's a pretty cool knife

Oh Man! That's awesome! Are you bringing that to Boise? I'd love to check it out in person. The sculpting is really well done:thumbup:

VERY nice. I relly like the way you shaped the integral bolster and carved the handle. Well done.

Being a QuilBilly I kind of expected an oyster knife.
When I used to live in Kitsap, Quilcene was known for their oysters.

Just teasing you.
Beautiful knife.
Look forward to seeing more of your work at the end of the month in Boise.

Thanks for all the comments, they mean a lot from this group. Mike, yes, I will have this in Boise and I look forward to meeting everybody. Mark, actually I have thought of making oyster knives, Quilcene is a pretty small market but I guess I would be the only one doing it. Todd

That is an amazing looking knife! I also love the sculpting! How was that material to carve? I did a search and it is similiar to ebony.

Came in here to check this out and drooled over the clean lines and hard work. Well-displayed, too. (Thank you for the props. That's YOUR good work, though.)

You need to post in here more often! WOW!

Coop
