After making knives like a madman for Christmas presents, I decided to make one for myself. I went through four different handles with different materials before I found the one I wanted. You should be able to see it here http://tinypic.com/1o0tfn hopefully this will work, here is the spine on the same knife http://tinypic.com/1o0tn5 let me know what you think... remember I am not a photographer.

thanks, the only problem with hamons are when people ask "why is that line on the blade?"

wow amazing work!! did you put some red filler around the pins? i cant realy tell my monitor is on the fritz.

...justin

there is no red filler around the pins, but I did use a red epoxy dye that filled in the file pattern.

I plan on keeping this one, but I have planned on keeping others that have ended up on other peoples belts! I decided that I wanted a nice one to carry around (instead of one of the first ones I made) because it seems that some of my best advertising is done when people can see my completed work. People will say "you made that?" and usually the next thing they say is "can you make me one?"
