With the long HOT summer its been a while since I've posted anything on BF, but with the arrival of cooler fall weather the shop is up and running hard and strong again so I wanted to show one I resently finished up and sent out to a customer this morning.
W-2 with a nice hamon, Damascus hardware and desert ironwood handle. OAL 14 1/8" with a 9 1/4" blade.

Thank you for looking and thank God for cooler weather,

Bill

Beautiful!!! I like the use of Damascus for the fittings and a "plain" steel blade (not a fan of Damascus).

Bill, Been wondering what's been going on with you. I thought maybe you were gone with the wind. Great looking fighter! You'd better get moving on the knives before it gets to darn cold to be in the shop.

Thats Nice Bill love the inlay I am glad we will be seeing more of your work now that it has cooled off.

Love it!!

On a side note... your webpage isn't currently working (or do you no longer have a website?) :)

Thanks everyone for the nice comments .

Ray I hear that, weather around here seems to change very quickly anymore, hotter then heck one day freezing your butt the next, but this summer was a killer. I do need to get busy forsure.

Redsnake, websites seems to be working now, server was probably having a problem for a little while.

Thanks again,

Bill

Nice looking fighter, Bill! Great to see you back in the groove. Think of all the pounds you could have sweated off this summer. :D

Not to take away f/this fantastic fighter... but FYI, your link in your profile to your makers website takes me to your old geocities http that is no longer working.

I did however find your website via google. :) Great looking knives as always Bill!!!

Thanks again guys for the comments.

Joe, my smithies outside under a shed type roof and it was terribly hot this summer, usually I can work early until noon, but this year it was tough going past 10am. seemed like I'd just get started and I'd have to quit or get sick. I'm sure glad thats over.

Redsnake- thank you, I just checked the link and it works fine for me, please let me know if you keep having problems.

Bill
