W-2, help me find some more.

Looking for W-2 steel, i purchased a small qauntity and cant find any more. Would prefer at least 1.5" wide x 3/16 or 1/4. will consider any out there.

I quit using w2 because the production was almost stopped on this grade. I hear that it is available in thicker sections. I know msc has it also but its very expensive. I went to 1084 instead. It forges great and it easy to get.

I already purchased the limited remaining stock that Texas Knifemakers had about 6 months ago.

Ive found it in 1 x 1 bars, but i dont have a power hammer and im not that fond of beating it into workable sections.

I agree.... should probably switch over completely to 10 series steels.
