I haven't posted much for a while, I did get this hunter finished up yesterday and throught I'd post to see what others think of it.
Steel is W-2, Nickle/silver hardware, Ironwood handle.
OAL 9 1/2" blade 4 3/4", The blade was clay coated and sports a nice hamon, I did polish it out so it isn't to bold, but shows very well in hand.

Thanks for looking

Bill

That's a very fine specimen you have there... and nice to see the new "JS" by your name.

Beautiful knife from stem to stern :)

Love the way you make your half guards

Bill, Did you actually make something that wasn't damascus or 52100? How'd you like the steel? Good looking knife!

Thanks everyone, I throught this thread was dead and buried about a week ago.
Bob D. not at this time, I made it to take to the Chicago show, the 7 & 8 september.

Ray, I had a senior moment and lost my train of throught for a few days. Its good steel, makes a nice hamon too.

Thank you,

Bill
