Still waiting on some supplies so I picked back up on this project.

22 1/8" of forged W-2
17" Blade
2 1/16 " wide
5/16 thick at ricasso tapering rapidly
Camel bone handle w/ sterling silver hardware.

The pommel is hollow 14 ga sterling formed from soldering two pieces together. The spacer is solid.

I plan on putting some tiny hand made sterling tacks around the pommel and some larger handmade sterling tacks in a diamond patten recessed in the handle.

Still have a long way to go, but I figured it was safe to show off since it's survived H/T.

Sorry bout the crappy pic.

Mark, do you have a small hand ? It looks like a 4" handle ,a bit small for my hand at least .

I think it's just my picture Robert.

It's exactly 5" from leading edge of spacer to the tip ot the pommel. Cutting edge edge is 16 1/2"

Hmmm... it seems that Master Williams is not such a master with math, or a measuring tape, one or the other-

21-1/8" OAL minus 17" blade = 4-1/8"

Not 5" you ding-a-ling!!!

:D  :p

Neat looking piece though Mark... you could do some serious damage with that big 'ol sucker! :D

man thats a long blade!! I see why you were worried about that ping!!!
Good job M~

Master Williams:

Are you gonna use that when you move out west to "clear-cut" timber?

Very nice.....very dangerous looking........

Robert

Damn Mark!! You hand-hammer that out of round bar? Looks like a chopping SOB.

Counting Mark and John Costa, I now have as many sons as I have daughters. The good part is I didn't have to raise the boys!!! ---Sandy---
