Here's an 11 1/2 " Chopper in clay-hardened W-2, with Stag handle. The fittings are 416 S/S and "W" pattern Damascus on the collar and fineal.

Its companion is an 11 1/4 " Bowie with the same specs, and a similar pattern of clay-hardening hamon.

Those gorgeous Paul Long sheaths have brown Nile Croc inserts!

These will join the Ivory Shell-Guard shown earlier, and as soon as Paul finishes the Little Bitty sheaths, I'll post an Ivory and Birdseye African Blackwood L.B. pair.

See you happy campers at Jerry's.

John, these are amazing knives, I feel privileged to have seen them up close...

Someone is going to be VERY happy! (assuming you are planning to keep them together?)

WOW, those are really nice John and with Pauls sheaths they make for a fantastic package. Beautiful job by both.

Just incredible John really nice work! I really like false edge dropped deep into the blades.:D

Chop Chop! Wouldn't it be fun to swing one of those bad boys around for a bit!

Got a chance to see and handle these babies, and they are special.
Doubt if anyone will be lucky enough to win the draw on both, so they will most
likely find separate homes.

Beautiful knives and sheaths...they compliment each other well

Great photo - who took it? I don't have a clue as its missing the familiar cushion pattern and the animal skin :D

Fantastic work by both artists!

Super pair, John! Man, it would be nice if some lucky person could keep those together. The P. Long work dresses up two great knives!

- Joe

John, you are WAY UP there and these are two great examples of your work.
Typically fantastic sheathwork, Paul.

What's wrong with Joe today! :D

Doug

Great work John...as usual.

That's a good job on the stag; saving as much of the natural antler as possible. That can sometimes be a challenge getting the riccaso to match up with the spacers & bone without grinding too much antler away. You pulled it off nicely.

Cheers,

TV

John,

That's a great looking pair of knives and sheaths.

I can't wait to see them in person.
