[Bailey Knives]

I need a source for forgable w-2 rod. Anyone know where I can get some? I was hoping in the area of 3/4-1" diameter. Cant seem to find any steel suppliers that offer it.

Nick Wheeler has a sorce for 1 1/2" round. Pretty sure thats all he can get. W-2 is a steel that hasn't been made for quite awhile. If W-1 will work for you USE-Enco http://www.use-enco.com/CGI/INSRIT?PARTPG=INSRAR2&PMAKA=409-0045&PMPXNO=944351 has it in a large number of round sizes at a good price.

fitzo, I dont think that was me, unless a knife of mine got into KI this month without my knowledge. I would be honored to have any magazine pick up any of my knives, but normally when I look at blade or knife magazine, I just realize how much I really need to learn about knifemaking.
