Holy cow the Taja competition was stiff this evening! I think that was a very close one. The BladeForums refresh and time to post the post was really long too - both posts were there when the page finally loaded for me. Need to grab a Dos XX after that one.
 
Beautiful batch tonight, everyone of those a stellar piece. I'm lucky enough to have one of each of these models and all are great users in addition to their beauty. My mini Loveless and hidden tang have been alternating pocket duty since I got them.

Okay Allen tell me the specs on the Ironwood. I've got a friend who needs a birthday present. It might be perfect. How long is the blade and what is the overall length

Hey Friend!! My birthday is in March and I'm pretty sure I'll be needing a birthday present by then too. I put a note in my calendar so I can be sure to remind you. lol

I'd have to guess the OAl is a tad shorter than the RMN and the blade cutting edge is around 3" or 3.25". I like the clip/swedge a lot!

The problem here is that the birthday is for a "she" friend. A very good "she" friend, obviously.

You, it seems, are a "he". I'd buy her a nice knife. You..yeah, I consider you a good "he" friend, but that means you get a cigar, and the multiple beers I owe you. Sorry bud.

I almost pissed myself laughing. That's what happens when you hit 55. Oh hell, I just realized the significance of the double fives! The poker game...the Ladyfinger. Damn, I'm slow.

Jerry, that was my favorite response of all time. I wondered how long it would take before someone commented on my remarkable resolve.

5 days and 2 hours. Hell, I went to see "Young Frankenstein" tonight in the theatre. Packed house. Lots of laughs. And the moment it let out I checked the forum. Dammit Allen!

I may copy that response, print it out, and post it on my computer screen.
