W.D. Pease New Boot Dagger

Bill Pease has been making knives for a long tiime and I'm always glad to see something new from him. Here are two boot daggers he sent me last week. These are ser #2 & #3,
number 1 went to a friend in Ohio.

The stag has Bronze, textured and polished bolsters. The Mammoth has Mokume bolsters. Both have mosaic pins, tapered tang. I've had a lot of Bill's fixed blades and they just keep improving!

Are they true double-edge, or single? And if it's double, I'm kinda surprised that the handles are nonsymmetric.

Hard to pick a winner here. I'd be proud to own either of them. I've admired his work for quite some time. Thanks for showing them.

Those are slick. I LOVE the textured bronze on that stag number.
