Time for a new edc for me. Several yrs ago almost bought large sebenza, instead bought Bradley Alias 1. Have been happy with knife except not that easily depoyed one handed. I blame it on the scallop as opposed to cut out on the frame. Still have knife and like it a lot but looking for something new. Was looking at sebenzas but happened upon William and Henry EDC E-10 (looks good). Lighter weight, slightly smaller, huge savings (300 vs ~450-535). Watcha think?
Thanks

Also, have flippers, assisted and autos in collection. Just looking for input on 2 knives mentioned.

Two totally different knives. Hard to compare then. The William Henry is soooo much thinner, lighter than a Sebenza.

It depends on what you're going to use it for.

Well said Scurvy, I was thinking the same thing. I have owned both, but now own neither one. The large Sebenza was too big to easily carry IMO, and the WH felt too light for it's size.(IE, if I am going to carry a "gentleman" knife it needs to be a little smaller) The Sebenza is a pretty large blade, about a 1/2 inch longer than the William Henry. They are both quality knives and you can't go wrong with either, but very different. If you are doing more heavy cutting then the CRK is the better choice. If you want a slim, light slicer then go for the WH. The WH also only comes all black with a coated blade, where the crk is satin finished only. As for your post, I don't consider either one to be easy one hand openers.
so.....what will be the use of the knife? The steel might also sway you, D2 for the WH and s35 for the CRK.

I am looking for more of a "gentleman's folder" but large enuff to get the job done, if u know what I mean. Bradley I carry is s30v and I like it, but have been wanting something in D2, I think

I have the WH E6 and is it as gentlemen like as you can get I only wish I got the E10 instead since the E6 is so small. They are incredibly well made(only company to take the quality award away from CRK). I do prefer my sebenza for EDC but for an office or suit then the WH is definitely the way to go. The coated D2 blade is also very attractive :)

As u might b able to read between the lines....I consider the large sebenza to b the better built Bradley, a higher quality knife, but similar to my Bradley. I guess I am really looking for someone to convince me to forget the E-10. Kinda already set my mind on it

Well William Henry is the only manufacturer out there who has bested crk for the blade quality award in forever so that should tell you how good they are.

But if you want a better Bradley then you need to get the Sebenza. The Bradley was designed to be a cheap Sebenza so it's a no brainer.

I don't know that I can add anything new to this conversation. I have both, like both, and carry both at different times. As said before, they are both high quality well built knives. The Sebenza is significantly larger and heavier and you'll feel that difference in your pocket compared to the WH. For office use, in a pair of slacks or light duty around the house, going out to dinner, the WH is perfect. Sebenza: 4 3/4 oz., approximately 3.4" sharpened edge, titanium handles. WH E10: 1 3/4 oz., approx. 2.9" sharpened edge, button lock, sculpted, anodized (I believe) handles. I can open and close both with one hand fairly easily. So it really depends what you want/need. What do you see yourself doing with the knife? Really keep in mind, the knives are very different. Don't expect the E10 to be as rugged as the Sebenza. If you want Sebenza heft but a bit lighter, maybe the small Sebenza at 2 7/8 oz. or the AG Russell Acies 2 (sorry, just had to add those). Battle ready - most likely the Sebenza. Very easy carry, will handle most slicing and light cutting duties - the E10 will be fine. Hope this helps. Mike

Very aware that Bradley Aries is a Sebenza knockoff, albeit a fairly high quality one, lacking the bronze bushings. But am not looking for that necessarily...have that style, maybe looking for something a little different

If you are set on a sebenza then I say go for it, they are a great knife. Since you already own and like the Bradley alias then I doubt you will regret buying a Seb, I sure don't.

Here are my 2 Sebs with my WH E6-3

I also highly recommend the Insingo blade its my favorite so far

Go for the WH if you can. I much prefer the alias to the Seb. Id get an W H if I could.

yeah mine is an E6 which is pretty small the E10 is a much better size. I didn't fully realize how small the E6 was until I got it in my hand and realized the E10 would have been better. The 2 Sebenza pictured above are small Sebs. I love everything about the WH except the size and Im sure the E10 would solve that.

I imagine if you put an e10 in between two large Sebenzas the picture would look almost identical to the one above.

William Henry makes very nice, high quality knives. I think you'd be pretty darn happy with an E10. Mike

Thanks all for input, new input will be moot. Ordered E10, found one on AGRussel with polished D2 as opposed to black coated and with mammoth ivory inlay......looks really nice....can't wait to have in my hand/pocket!!! :)

I'd love to see pics and hear your thoughts about the knife when you get it. I've been having this same debate (Seb vs WH) with myself.
