Hey guys,

I was thinking about compiling a reading list for WS&S. The reading list can be roughly divided into two categories Survival and Bushcrafting.

Please recommend some classical and all time essential reading for me. Thanks

God Bless

Thanks for the thread. Joezilla, Thanks for throwing in a fiction book.

Anyone ever read anything by James Oliver Curwood? I know he did a lot of outdoor/wilderness fiction but I haven't read any yet.

I would love to see the other recent book thread merged with this one and made a sticky

 I would really like to have a essential/must read bushcrafting reading list for beginners and also people looking for reference. It would be a great way to centralize information.

"Hatchet" by Gary Paulsen

"Call of the Wild" by Jack london

Can you post links in here to them? I'll do make it a sticky later on tonight once I have everyone's first posts linked in here.
