It was good to meet up with a few of the BF W&SS folks this past weekend at the NYCKS in NJ.

KmArTD, me and TonyM...

The freaks come out at night. L-R... Sam Salvati(maker), RescueRiley, me, TonyM, Wally Hayes(maker), KuRUpTD, Lauraent Doussot(maker)

John(Riley) and I enjoyed a romantic candlelit nook, nestled in the corner of what looked like the "VIP" section of a Gentlemans bar. It was all I could do to contain myself... I'll never forget the time we spent together.:D:barf:

Scott Gossman came out, too. We talked shop for a while. What a great guy. (Notice I didn't say that about the other W&SSers.... those guys are a bad influence)

I also met Esav and KenC. We didn't get any pics, though.... so you'll just have to keep imagining them as frumpy middleaged men living in their mother's basement waiting for the next opportunity to lay down the "Word of Mod".... he he.... just messin'... they were suprisingly nice..... almost life-like.:p

... and then there's Mercop... no words can describe the feeling you get in this man's presence....

Man, that's a motley crew if ever I saw one! Great pics bro.

Just out of curiosity....why is the NYCKS held in NJ ? Wouldn't that make it the NJKS ?

Curious as well. But hey, CVG (Cincinnati International Airport) is located across the river in Kentucky @ Hebron. Go figure. Nice shots, looks like everyone was having a great time, or those were taken after the 5th or 6th rounds had been distributed . . :)
Be safe.

Jees, Rick. When you say W&SS folks I didn't know you were going to be pictured. You scared off my nephew  :p

Looks like you had a good time with the group,

Bad influence... I thought you Canadians could drink. Rick should have had a nipple on his beer...

It was good to finally meet the Wilder Tool, and he is so adaptable he became a city tool with ease!

I believe knife laws in NYC had a lot to do with it being held in Jersey. I also heard from some makers at the show, that U.S. customs broke some chops last year due to some materials in the knives. (Mother of Pearl, exotic woods, bone, etc..) So I think Jersey was chosen, since know one cares what the hell happens in Jersey...

Hey Rick it was a pleasure meeting you, Wally and the rest of the crew (good times)
Thanks for letting me fondle your Bush Waki ... the longer I held it in my hand the more I wanted it.

Why do I always learn about these things when it's too late. :grumpy: I would have been there if I'd known ahead of time. Next year...

no. Rick can drink..you just don't remember it :P
