W1 Clayed and Clipped Bowie

One for the Fox River Knife Rendezvous this weekend:
A "short" 10 inch W1 clipped blade that was clay processed during heat treating. The blade was forged from a 1 1/8" round bar of W1.
Take-down design includes African Blackwood full grip handle and hot-blued mild steel fittings.
It's a handful at 15 1/2".

I got asked for a detailed photo of the assembly pieces, so here ya' go!
Screw and wrench are hot blued mild steel, and the pins are hot blued and hardened O1 dowel pins.

Sweet! Balanced, perfect color gradient from handle to blade and the lines of the handle, the hilt and the blade really flow. I still wanna whack something with it. :thumbup:
