Got two more finished up here today:
First one is a W1 Integral forged from a 7/8" round W1 rod, clay processed heat treatment and a stabilized English Walnut handle.
Second one is a Bakelite Hunter forged from 1" square 5160, using a stainless guard and antique bakelite for the handle.
Both knives are fixed assembly.
Thanks for letting me share, folks!

Nice work Karl - I am particularly drawn to the design and proportions of that little hunter

I've got to tell you - I'm digging the look of that bakelite stuff - and I have never been one to gravitate toward synthetic handle materials of any kind. I still haven't figured out how the stuff you gave me for the project knife finishes out to look like that, but I guess I will when I actually work with it.

The integral is very nice and shows your versatility as a maker.

Though your hunter is obviously very functional for intended purpose, I can't get passed that ugly Bakelite. ;) :)

Hi Karl, hope the weekend event is fun. Say hi to Paul and Jerry. Anyway about the knives. I'd like to see the two handles reversed. Love the blade of the hunter but would prefer a slightly shorter guard. With the Walnut that would be awesome. For a whacker, the integral and the bakelite might be a great combo.
