W2/15n20 Damascus Chef’s knife update: paring knife added.

This is made from 0.095” W2/15n20, 264 layer ladder pattern, forged by me. It’s heat treated to Rc63/64. 0.003” before sharpening. The handle is 3400 year old bog oak and curly mango. The customer prefers western handles. They always look out of place on this style of knife to me, but this is what he wants. This is one of three knives in the set. There is a boning knife and paring knife that are being glued up shortly.

Very nice pair. I think it looks great with that handle shape, although I understand what you mean when you say the eye is used to a different handle shape.
 
Great looking knives Warren, I like the file work, a nice extra touch.
