Before I was dreaming of cute little artsy knives, I was dreaming of this. This knife was in my head for at least four months before I got it out :) The blade is Aldo's W2, clay quenched with a hamon. The fittings are mild steel, fluted and browned, with a few stainless spacers for "pop." The handle is a nice piece of fossil oosic that I got from the estate of a local knifemaker. Construction is sort of a glued-up takedown, with a bit of filework on the butt and a turned finial. There are 14 total pieces. Overall length is right at 10 inches including the finial. My camera took a dive, so I shot a little video instead. I haven't decided what to do for the sheath yet, and I may send it off to Coop for his magic as well.
