W2 and Oosik Bowie

Hello BF,
Here's one I'm just finishing up. 10" W2 blade is double ground, clay hardened for hamon and acid etched for patina.
Guard, ferrules and pommel are damascus. Handle is Oosik from Mark Knapp and stabilized by WSSI.

These are some dry fit pics. Hope you like it.

I like it, alot! The grind is very interesting and appealing. I also like the deep etch 0n the blade and the file work on the spacer!

Interesting. Do you mind sharing why you went for the assymmetrical false edge/clip? I like how things are looking. :)
 
David, very nice and I like everything about it. Seems each and every knife is becoming more refined and stylish. Keep up the excellent work.

James, it was just a decision I made at the grinder to add some visual flair, nothing more. I'd seen Steve Johnson
had done something similar so it was probably due in part to that.
