Here is one that I just finished up for a customer. The blade is 7 1/4" of forged W2. The guard is 416ss and has been coin edged. The fileworked spacer and the tang wrap are also 416ss. The handle material is amber stag. The overall length of this one is 11 7/8". The balance point on this one is on the index finger. I really like how the curves in the handle fit your hand when you are holding the knife.

One of your more attractive knives, lately...have you weighed it?

Looks quite fine, the coin edging you do has always been a nice touch.

That's a fantastic piece Craig. Very striking. I really like the handle shape and the stag is to die for.

Thanks. I have made some handles that are similiar but this one I was trying to make very similiar to some handle in on of my antique bowie books. I really like the feel of it. the wieight on this one is 13oz.

Really nice piece. First rate design and materials.:thumbup::thumbup:

In the interest of full disclosure, I do not own, and have not owned, any knives made by Craig Camerer, JS and therefore am NOT, and have NOT, in anyway profited from my kind words and enjoyment of his progess as a knifemaker. VOID where prohibited by law. ;)

Good lawd a'mighty! I can't tell you how partial I am to that handle design. And I agree with your comments about how this style feels in hand. Much more comfortable than you'd think from just a picture.

I really like this piece. I'm a sucker for stag. I noticed you name wasn't on the list of table holders for the Little Rock show, not going this year?

He'll be there; they just forgot to put his name down. :)

I will be at Little Rock. I was just unsure early on if I was going to be able to attend. The guard is slight canted.
