W2 Blacksmith knife for a friend

This was fun!

I usually use whatever scrap metal is out back in the junk pile for these, coil springs, railroad spikes etc,… but this time I tried a good piece of Don’s ¾ round W2. I like the way it forged out... good steel.

One thought... if you'd integrated horns or tusks into the beast's snout/mouth, it would be menacing from both ends.

Nathan, the dragon face is all done with hot chisels and punches, pushed the metal around, no stock reduction there... not much stock reduction anywhere.
