Hey everybody
Starting to make knives again, and just finished this knife.

It saw very heavy use/abuse before i finished it up nice including camping storm clean-up and a moose hunting trip in Canada. After all that use i finally got around to hand finishing the blade and handle. It was designed as a hard working abuse taking blade, but it also has a gorgeous hamon with alot of activity both on the hamon and above it. the pictures do not do it justice.

OAL: 14" tapered full tang with peened brass pins and structural epoxy.
Handle:Natural canvas micarta. VERY ergonomic and comfortable, Parachute cord lanyard keeps it in your hand even when fatigued.
Blade: 9" Flat ground blade with very robust convex edge and a sturdy tip, hand finished to about 800 grit.

good to see you back makin knives, Chris!
how could I NOT like this unit...

Still got that PEEK handled beauty and use it all the time, keeps and takes a great edge.

Glad to see you back! That's a great looking camp blade, the handle looks especially comfortable.

Another fine chopper, Chris !
Good to see you back !

great looking blade and hamon. Interesting place for a lanyard hole, too.

I was wondering what happened to you! Great to see your back to knives. I for one, would LOVE to hack at anything I can with it. :)

thanks everybody!
it has been nice to get back. i have been busy with work and building a couple motorcycles

I am really glad you like the knife. it is one of my favorite users so far. i used the crap out of the blade and it just kept giving, and i thought about holding onto it but a few big bills came though and had to let it go.

I have a couple more blades on the way. hopping to finish up a cable San mai wakizashi here in the next couple weeks, and i have a gladius as well as a couple more heavy users on the way. finished a couple folders and have a pair of Ti liner-locks that are in line to get finished as well.

it is nice to be back
thanks yall!

That's my kind of knife! Beautiful, simple, functional, comfortable...built for chopping....:D

thanks yall!
the bikes have been alot of work.. and alot of fun. the type of battery i bought to fit in the carbon fiber tail i made has started catching other bike on fire, so i am ironing that out before i can ride it more.

should have a couple other big knives. i have a Hansonesque fighter in W2 that will be going under the blade next as well as a W2 beefy wak and an L6 wak

nice knife work...

what are those bikes? Japanese for sure one looks like an SV stripped, the one with carbon fiber i can't figure out...

I like the street fighter look on a bike, minimalistic and simple..."less is more" sort of thing on bikes it seems to work over all those fairings, for looks anyway, aerodynamics are a different thing

I did a Buell into more of a 'street fighter' than it already comes...

that buell is really nice! i like what you did with it. Bikes are alot of fun but they can be a real drain on the bank account. i currently have three bikes in the garage and cant ride any of them (only two are mine). they all have little things wrong that i have to fix.
knife however.. are ready steady go.
