Hi guys- :)

Angi's been crack'n the whip and keeping the shop monkeys in check... so we've got another one to share. :)

This is a pretty good sized fighter forged from 1-3/4" W2 round, differentially hardened without clay, and polished to bring out the hamon.

416 guard with mirror polish on inside of lugs and the scallops, that contrasts the 800X satin finished sides. Copper and black G10 spacers.

Handle is stabilized, spalted Sycamore that I got from Mark Farley at BurlSource... I have only used the wood on this knife so far, but I am loving it.

Thanks folks :)

Wow that handle is gorgeous! The hamon has so much depth. It reminds me of rain clouds. Fantastic blade sir!

That there is a reason to attend Blade alone. Fantastic Nick. ...My wife smacked me in the back of the head when I told her to take a look. She's not a collector!

There are certain post titles you read and think to yourself "oh, this is gonna be good". You never seem to disappoint Mr. Wheeler. Truly benchmark work.

Awesomeness. I love the activity you get in the au-naturale hamon. The precision and control in both time and temperature to achieve such effect tells me you REALLY know your W2! Of course the overall knife's design, construction, fit and finish live up to the meticulous high Wheeler standards as well. Accolades all around my friend

Nick, I like how your shaping your guards now, that little scallop is a nice touch. Is it just me, or is the tip lower on this one than your normal fighters/bowies? There are only a handfull of makers who have been defined by their bowies, and you are one of them! Again, yours doesn't even require a mark, its just that good!

I like this combo very much!

Nick, you're killin' me with these posts. There's the scallops again...looks great.

The cloud hamon is stealing my soul. I'm mesmerized looking at the way it flows. Absolutely love it and if I owned this baby my wife would catch me just sitting there eyeballing the blade.

Also am really attracted to the spalted Sycamore. A wonderful package!!!
