Here's the latest folder I finished. 3 1/8" blade, 4" closed, w2 steel w/ polished hamon, rounded filed thumb grip, desert Ironwood scales, jeweled titanium liners and lock, black & bronze backspacer fileworked inside and out, carbon fiber pocket clip.

All comments and discussion welcome.

That is a "Handsome" Gentleman's folder there...Beautiful details!

Beautiful looking knife ... would definately fall into gentleman's knife for those occasions ....

I describe the hidden work (which I never can show) in the well 'Buried Treasure'.

Someone is going to LOVE this folder! Good stuff.

Van Barnett wrote recently in one of his Instagram posts that the quality of the finish inside of the knife is as important to him as the finish of the outside of the knife. Displays the maker's commitment to quality, which is always on display in a John Doyle piece

Sweet!!!...I love everything about it...except the clip - I am not a fan of clips...

Cheers/bg

Me too. :D I don't prefer making or using clips but this was a request and I'm not so opposed to it that I won't put one on by request.

I really appreciate all of your replies guys. Thank you so much!

It is always a special visual experience to be "Doyled" again here on BF.

Congrats on yet another masterpiece, John!

That is really nice.

Personally having pocket clip hides that beautiful wood and a fine leather pouch with a belt clip would be my choice.
