Hey everybody,
I just finished these knives up from blades I finished forging some time ago. I finished the knives up a little while ago but needed to finish the sheaths. Everything is done now and i would appreciate your input. They are currently up for sale in the for sale section.

G10 Hunter
OAL 11.5" Blade: 6" long, 0.215" thick
Blade forged from DHIII W2 steel, polished to 800 grit with active hamon
304 Stainless guard Micarta spacer and Stainless pin
Tan G10 handle
Veggie-tan leather sheath with custom stainless furniture

Redwood Burl Hunter
OAL 12" Blade: 7" long, 0.19" thick
Blade forged from DHIII W2 steel, polished to 800 grit with active hamon
304 Stainless guard and Micarta spacer Mosaic pin
Stabilized Redwood burl handle
Veggie-tan leather sheath with custom stainless furniture

they were alot of fun to make. Especially getting to design and exocute them myself it was gratifying to see them turn out. Personally i like the fighter best. however it hink iw ould use the hunter more. any critiques?

also.. is $450-500 a fair price for them? i always second guess myself.

I really dig that fighter a whole bunch. The hunter has a good deal more blade than I would want or need in an actual hunting knife application (4-4 1/2" is my personal preference), but I think it looks great and would certainly make for a nice camp / utility piece.
