I recently finished up this Kiridashi in W2 steel for a Bladeforums member.

The hamon was very tough to photograph and I couldn't get a pic of the hamon on the reverse to even show in a photo. The hamon is subtle but looks great in person.

I like this one :D Did you do something different with the grind, it's hard to tell but it looks different. Hollow ground?

I'm not sure why but this one speaks to me :thumbup:

It is a flat grind as always on the dashis but the lines are clearer or easier to see in photos with the satin finish.

The reason the grind looks "round" on the top and bottom is because the spine and underside are aggressively rounded for comfort... they feel great that way.
