Here's something new for me--kind of a prototype. 4 inch blade of DHIII's W2 integral guard hunter with koa handle. I wanted a thin profile and a very light hunter design.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Tad

man... that is sweet. Such nice lines and the integral guard puts it over. Tad.. I expect you are going to be flooded with orders on that one.

But wait... I think.. somehow... I see a gap between your guard and the blade. How!? :-)

Nice looking hunter-beautiful wood, and I love how the hamon flows through the guard.

I am in accord. You have a great thing going with this one, Tad. Super light hunter design.

sweet, kind of a 'bird'n'trout' lookin thing you got there.
Now, let's see a full sized, badass integral bowie...

Very good looking and well executed to the point it should basically hold up forever.

Personally, I would prefer slightly more handle thickness from a Hunter functional perspective.
I do understand you were trying to reduce weight.
