Thank guys, The Elk is from a 6x6 mount that was taken from an old lodge in Colorado by a friend of mine about 30 yrs ago, he was told they were about 30 yrs old at the time, their whole life was nailed to a barn gable until GIVEN to me fro a knife. I wish I could get back some the knives I used it on and re-blade them"lol"

That is a piece of work my friend and I love the elk scales, those are probably the best looking pieces of elk I have seen and I am sure its from the age of them, nice job on the knife too by the way.
