W2 Recurve Take-down Fighter with Deeply Etched and Hot-blued Wrought Iron Fittings!
This is something I've been experimenting with for some time now and have finally attached some to a knife!
I forged the blade from a 3" cube of W2 drop.
The wrought iron fittings have been DEEPLY etched and then hot-blued. The result was astounding.
Finial and take-down "wrench" are mild steel.
The handle is Stabilized Bocote from WSSI.
I hope the photos do the bluing on the iron justice.
