I own 2 late 60's western bowies and I plan to keep 1 original but would like to update 1 of them. I have searched the internet for screw on replacement grip scales in G-10 or micarta to replace the brass pinned walnut originals and haven't been able to find anything. I also plan on modifying the cross guard and chrome plating it. My question is does anyone know of any company or individual that might be able to or currently is making replacement G-10 or micarta scales for the mighty western bowie. Thank you.
