I'm beyond happy with the outcome of my first Wa style (octagonal hidden tang) handle!

This one is Blackwood with a Silver Twill spacer. There is a hidden dowel for dowel through construction... nice and strong! The tang is drilled, sawed and burned in.

Look out for more of these... with knives attached! :D I really like the look, feel and light weight.

Are they two separate pieces or one? Can't even tell if there's gabs or not!

3! :D Seamless construction! he cool part was that before glue-up the entire handle and knife fit together with no movement... I could have made it a take-down if I wanted!

That looks amazing dude!
Much appreciated B!

He duz it again!!
Thanks Rolf!

More pics soon... the Kamisori inspired blade only needs the final sharpening.

By the way... one of my most requested designs is my tall Petty (large parer/line knife/small Chef's). How about a run of them with Wa handles in AEBL steel? This is something I have been considering for a while.

Level up!

Oh, if you do a group buy on pettys I'd prefer 52100 over AEBL. That stuff stays charp, mang!

Thanks guys for the kind words and input!

I'm putting together a second one today and should have this one ready very soon. It's coming together nicely! :D

Very nice looking handle...can't wait for a blade attached to it :D I'd be down for one!
