wa handled slicer

i nice 300mm slicer jsut in time for bird day and carving
the edge is 295mm long and the blade from the front of the handle is 310mm (some measure the length from one or the other so i cover both)

the handle is wa style octagon with SS guard and spacer the ebony collar and the main being 2 tone amboyna burl

Certainly puts my folks old Henckels (which I just finished sharpening for tomorrow, oh joy...) to shame!

That being said, and I'm sure it cuts like a dream, I can't imagine using an 11" knife at the dinnertable...
