Wade & Butcher “Guide”

I have a knife that was passed down to me by my father, grandfather and even possibly my great grandfather!
Wade & Butcher for sure but says, “Guide” on the blade. I can’t find that anywhere!
The knife is 8.75” long-
The blade is 4.5” long
The leather sheath is 9.5” long and has rounded studs/rivets all along the edge..

Any information would be greatly appreciate! My 1st day on the site. 😊. Thanks to all!
