Wade Colter is, as quite a few of you know, one of my favorite makers. Well this year he made me an other Goblin folder. I saw a glimps of the knife in the "San Antonio thread" but now I received the pic Eric Eggly made. And boy am I pleased with this one.

A few interesting facts about Wade that you might not know. He is one of the original members of the "Montana Mafia", and he was the first bladesmith who received the George Peck Award (1997) and B.R. Hughes Award (1999). I believe (but I'm not sure) that so far only Ron Newton and Rodrigo Sfreddo repeated this feat, and I reckon Kyle Royer will be a likely candidate.

Cool folder Marcel!

Looks a bit uncomfortable to hold though, what with that little knife sticking out of the side...;):D

Kind regards,

Jos

Total awesomeness. I LOVE the extra "bite" this Goblin has with the extra blade. Congrats Marcel!

COOL Marcel! The eyes give the face an interesting look, and the filework and bends in the steel make it quite an artistic piece.

Thanks for the history lesson. As Goblin folders go, this one is creative and not too scary. :D

I can see Eric sat back and studied this for a spell to figure out a proper display.

Good for YOU, Marcel!

Great looking Goblin Marcel. I had the pleasure of seeing this one first hand in San Antonio. It is very cool and very well done. I know you are going to love it.

Congratulations, Jon

I too am a big fan of Wades. His Goblin cut n shoot is engrained in my head forever. This one reminds me of that one but not as scary. Love that little wing with an extra blade. Congrats on the score.

For those who want to know how that one looks like go to page 230 of 500 Knives and you'll see what Bruce means.:thumbup:

Crazzzy goblins! I know how you feel, when it comes to an attraction toward something, I just go nuts on some things, myself - and those goblins are fascinating.
