I have seen several of Mr. Coulter's knives and I like them. I haven't been able to find photos of much of his stuff. Anyone have any photos?
I know he hasn't done a lot of work in recent years, but I was curious. Thanks.

How about showing some pics of yours? If I were fortunate enough to have several of his knives, I'd show them.

You can find several seevral pictures of his work in a the archives at bladegallery.

Unfortunately, I have none of Mr. Coulter's knives - but that's one name I will never forget. :D When I attended my first BLADE Show five or six years ago, I shared a shuttle bus from the airport to the Waverly Renaissance Hotel with......Wade Coulter - and I had no idea who he was! What a missed opportunity! :o:o:o

No, I don't have any of his...one can wish. But, I like his work and wanted to see any photos. I met him and talked to him quite a bit at a hammer in in Montana. Got to see his knife pistol... incredible work. Have heard about a pistol he made that had a goblins head on the back...when you cocked the pistol, the goblin's tounge popped out. Knifemakers were talking with reverance about the detail of his hand finishing. I heard a MS refer to him as "the human milling machine" and an old-school craftsman. I can appreciate such effort and love seeing such.

Wade is one of my favorite makers. He does awesome work and doesn't even own a belt grinder. He does all his grinding with two small disk grinders.

Lots of handwork and attention to the fine details make him one of the best!!!!
