Wagglebee passing. RIP

Just wanted to share that my friend Rob AKA Wagglebee, passed away earlier this year. They had moved and I had not seen Rob in a while, but his wife messaged me to give me the sad news. He had a big presence in the slip joint community several years back.

I was just remarking that a lot of the collectors are sadly getting older and when they go, they take a ton of knowledge and enthusiasm for the hobby with them. I fear that we have already lost a ton of knife knowledge from earlier generations that we may never rediscover again.

glennbad good point well made. We’re in a time where even some of the younger very, very good slippie makers are being drawn away and attracted by other aspects of this wider more commercial knifey world we live in
