Finished this one Thursday. Its by far my favorite knife since I've been making again. 5 7/8" blade, sambar stag handle with more wrought iron. Overall its 11".

Raymond,
I was gonna' say nice little hunter,I always look at the pics first, then I read the dimensions.
Very nice.
Is it 01?
Doug :D Edited to add,didn't read leaf spring,so I'll just guess 5160.

Ray, I love the work on the butt cap. Superb work, and a beautiful piece of stag. Love to see a Coop montage pic of that knife. Thanks for sharing the art. Kevin

That's a really nice piece of work Ray - you should be proud.

Excellent! A question for you Ray; if a person were to want a knife from you without the ring, would you do that, or is it kind of a signature thing?

Keith, The ring is kind of a signature but I can do them without. It has several purposes in the construction of my knives and also serves as a thong hole after the knife is finished. By the time the knife is finally epoxed together it has been put together and taken apart many times and the ring makes it easy for me to do that plus I can hang it up and look at it from all angles.
