This is the first time I have ever bought direct from Busse, so how long should I expect for it to take for me to get charged and have the Park Ranger at my doorstep?

2 weeks.

Now you know why there is always heavy drinking involved to cope with all this waiting. ;)

The current Web site indication is:

"Each Busse knife is made per order. Production time will be approx 6-20 weeks from the day the order was placed."

Since we're already more than a few weeks into part 2, my best guess right now would be 15-25 weeks.:)

I don't mind the wait, I'm sure the good folks at BUSSE are churning them out as fast as they can. The wait for the BME2 was just over a year though (one of the last offers in a very long line of blades). They say they're aiming to do much better this time around, but I figure the wait will go faster if I just assume it's going to be a really long time anyway lol. "2 weeks"

:D the real answer is "two weeks", and yes, it's in quotation marks, and yes it's a quote... Perhaps you've seen the movie? ;)

those damn a2 gemini's are going to take awhile though... Sure the teacher's pets will get theirs first, good business to supply the biggest return customers first "and sheath makers".

If I may let me describe, also my first experience getting an order in. Since it began "2 weeks ago" I'm already expecting my first order as I was dinged last week so I'll have it in another "2 weeks" There's already been dings for knives ordered on the second knife "1 week later" and so they will be getting theirs in about "2 weeks". Op 2W has been running for oh, a while, a bit longer than "2 weeks" But the important thing is, start throwing all your loose change in a can and in a couple weeks you'll have enough change to order another one tonight!
Grats on everyone's snags!

Thanks for the welcome my friends, relatively new to the Busse "fan club", but I have to say, out of all the ones I've been a part of, this is the tightest knit one I know.

I'm sure that the sheath makers WISH they got their's first!
