Well, if you hold to the belief that a knife isn't truly yours until it's tasted your blood, my first Busse is definitely mine.

Never feel I really own a knife until I see blood (mine). If I don't realize I've cut myself until I see red, then I know it's sufficiently sharp.

Wasn't much of a cut really, but it surprised me because I just accidentally pushed my thumb against the edge while cutting up cardboard. Never had a knife get me without some sort of slicing motion before...

That's the truth for sure. All of my busse's are truly mine, but I'm not sure how much is them being thirsty vs. me being clumsy

It's all a part of owning knives, but Busses love the taste of blood! You have to be careful with them once they've gotten their first taste.
