I just pulled the trigger on this one! The Swayback is my favorite pattern and stag is my favorite handle material.

I've wanted a two blade swayback and couldn't pass this one up.

Photo is from Arizona CK website. I'll post some of my own when I get my hands on it.

Congrats, Gary. Should be a nice one for you. I have a Chamblin saddlehorn in my pocket as we speak (or type as the case may be).

Joel's swaybacks are very nice ! pfft. . . . .anything coming from Joel's workshop is very nice ! !

Saw that particular swayback yesterday. If I didn't have one already. . . . :D

I know I'll be real happy with it Elliott. As you already know, Joel doesn't turn out a piece that isn't as close to perfection as you can get.

I'm glad you had one already GigOne! :D

Congratulations.

I believe you chose very well. Count me in as another huge fan of Joel's knives and he is as good of a person as you would want to meet.

Gary, congrats on a fine acquisition. I saw that one yesterday and it made my clicker finger itch. What a beauty! Glad to see it came to the folksy forum.

I got the custom slipjoint bug a couple of years past, and with the help and advice of many of the folks here, have managed to pick up several made by the usual suspects.

Joel Chamblin's are among the very best that I own. Everything about them is just perfect, and I can add my opinion to the others who have said that Joel is a good guy to deal with as well.

That swayback looks like a terrific example of Joel's work. If you choose to carry it and use it, you'll find that it performs as well as it looks. Not an easy thing.

That pretty much says it all!
