So whilst I’m waiting, I’m playing Flippy Knife with a Frenzy II!!!

I’ll get pictures up soon.

Got it yesterday. From every video I’ve seen, I’d have to say that the scales on mine, are the best example I’ve seen of the knife. The layering pattern is identically mirror matched on both sides. All the ones I’ve seen reviewed had the layering pattern not matched. And the grinds are perfect!

With that, the blade was not centered when closed. Typically I can adjust centering on any Triad knife pretty easy. This one stumped me for a bit...but, I have now developed yet one more method for centering Triads when closed. Once I put my own edge on it, the knife will be an expression of perfection

Uncentered Triads...Come at me bro!

That is a work of art(thankfully no black blade), hell....now I really want one. It would fit right in with my Tiger Claw.

I've owned three Frenzy's. All had centering issues. I tried everything, even taking them apart and I still couldn't get them to Center Properly. Fantastic piece to carry though. Super light, disappears in IWB.

With a blade that long though, its a super challenging thing to be able to get it to center. My experience, YMMV, That long Blades generally have more of an issue with Centering.
Congrats on your new piece. Great one.

It’s a north south thing (one scale is ever so slightly higher than the other) with the scales. loosten up the pivot, the body screws, and the pocket clip screws. Then place a folded bit of paper on the side of the blade the blade is leaning towards (smaller gap). Then on the greater side gap, press the scale up towards the pivot, while simultaneously pressing the opposite scale towards the butt. Squeeze the scales together, not letting the adjustment up then tighten-but don’t over tighten the bottom two (butt end, both sides) body screws. Then the pivot screw, snugly. Pull out the paper. And check your centering. If good, tighten the remaining body screws-then the clip screws. If not loosten the screws again, slightly...and dial it in (pressing up on one scale, down on the other) till the centering is where you want it. Then slowly loosen the pivot screw, until the blade will be pressed shut by the rocker lock-even if only pulled up slightly-the spring still pushes and holds the blade closed.

Hopefully my instructions are clear. This process will center any pesky to center Triad knife.

Then what I do is hit the pivot with some safariland CLP. Let that set for a bit, then blast it out with hot water, and dish soap. Your action will be silky smooth.
