just ordered one today...i always carry a small pocket knife to keep from freakin folks out when i pull out my larger knife (as of late its been the Police model) to open a letter, cut cord, etc., so i figured if im carrying Spydercos as my edc, why not get a little one as well? it made complete sense to me, AND it gave me a reason to order another Spyderco:D

I love mine. Put it on your keychain, I think it would be easy to lose in your pocket if you carry a lot of other stsuff.

thats what i was a bit concerned with, so i ordered a Wilson Combat lanyard as well. im hoping i can use it on this little knife, i already have enough junk on my keychain LOL

I've got the regular FRN version and love it - great for EDC with a suit while in the office.

Personally, I'm anxiously awaiting the ZDP-189 BRG ManBug! Sweet!

I got my Dad the ZDP LadyBug for Christmas right before the ManBug came out. Wondering if I should get him the Manbug or some other Spydie this year...

Hmmm. Decisions, decisions.

Manbug + Clip = Dragonfly = Win!

Well they are slightly aside from the clip, but I hate fishing in my pocket for stuff, gotta have me a clip. :-)

please excuse the Benchmade knife LOL...i figured id kill 2 birds with one pic.
i got the little ManBug the other day, and its a nice little knife....did i say LITTLE? :D

Whats the main difference between the manbug and ladybug? I cant tell. I pulled up both pages on Spydercos site and they are pretty much the same thing. Most of the specs have them at being around 1-2 millimeters in difference. The biggest difference I can tell is the manbug is 0.5 mm thicker. Why would Spyderco make 2 knives that are so similar? Why is the manbug $15 more msrp?

The difference is quite small, but you can tell it when you hold a Manbug vs. a Ladybug. The Manbug also has a wider blade with more belly.

thanks for the info anthony....i knew there was a slight difference, but i wasnt sure what it amounted to. ive never held a ladybug so i had no reference

I'd love one in BRG and ZDP-189. Also H1 with a yellow handle would be pretty nifty as well.

Are there any plans to release Manbugs with colored FRN handles? I was eying a Ladybug in purple FRN when I noticed the FRN Manbug.

I carry one on my keychain and I actually find myself using it more than my para2! It feels like a mini delica in the hand and it gets surgically sharp. It's like a super-sturdy scalpel. When compared to the ladybug, it fills the grip a TAD bit more but it makes the knife feel sturdier. The blade has more belly as well. It's just a well-made thing.
