I've been patiently waiting since May for my order the Order Number is: 10249. Can you give me a date of shippment.

Tim...got your e-mail. We're just waiting for a few hundred forgings to be completed, which were delayed from a terrible fire at our drop forging operation.

At least you have an order number. I've only been waiting since last month though. Should I have gotten an order number by now?
 
You get an order number when you place the orders online. When you call me and place a phone order I assign an order number. If you'd like an order number please feel free to call me.
 
On 6/25/02 Andy posted a note saying that all Vietnam Tactical orders would be shipping in three weeks. Is it safe to say that the timeframe is further out now that it's been about three weeks, or is it still basically on that schedule? I'm not pushing or anything, just curious. Thanks!
 
It's cool Nobody, and I'm glad you asked.

I am expecting to be able to answer that question with a hard date by tomorrow, so I'll post something more detailed then.

In the meantime, we remain totally greatful for everyone's patience and understanding...and we remain accessible.

Another week...No hawk...Getting weaker...dont know if I can wait much longer.......

Do you have a Rodgers' Rangers Spike 'hawk yet? That's how I coped with the wait for my VNT (and now a Hayes too). Ordered on a Monday, was unwrapping it on Thursday. By Friday my wife had made a new rule... "no tomahawks on the couch" :D.
 
No Rev The VN Tac would be my first hawk. I've mainly been collecting kukries from the Gurkhas and my pal Bill Martino at Himalayan Imports.
I got to play with a VN Tac while on Army Reserve duty (Thank you Lt Paul!!). I decided to order one after I saw the high quality in their products.
I understand Andy has been having problems with forges fires and mutual impedememnts on the latest batch of hawks so I thought I'd act desperate!...Have a good weekend. Cheers!
 
Hey all,

Just recently ordered my own Vietnam Tactical. It'll be for my upcomming deployment to "parts not friendly at all".

I'm actually looking foreward to it. This is my first 'hawk, so I'm sure there's alot I have to learn when it comes to them. I think I've made a good choice though, going by what I've read on here, heard from others, and saw first hand talking to Suzanne.

Any comments from previous owners?

IMHO you will be very happy with the VNT. It is very well made, very sharp, very fast, and it is almost indestructable(sp).
I can wait to get another one.

Talked to Suzanne, she assured me that I'll get mine before I depart. Just eager to get ahold of it and play with it a bit before I have to leave!

Yep, Suzie's word is gold to me. You should see your hawk soon then. I'm interested in how you plan on positioning your hawk on the ruck sack. Keep us poste. Cheers!
